This April, the Student Conservation Association (SCA) is hosting 60 projects for Earth Day in honor of 60 years of SCA!

With national support from Southwest Airlines and American Express, we are aiming to connect our members, alumni, friends, and partners across the country to create a nationwide network of Earth Month celebrations.

Join SCA in Los Angeles to help restore the Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve in partnership with the Friends of Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve.



WHEN: Tuesday, April 17th, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

WHERE: Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve, 1202 West 170th St, Gardena, CA 90247. (One block North of Artesia Blvd, between Normandie and Vermont Ave and behind Arthur Johnson Memorial Park.)

WHAT: Volunteers will help to restore the Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve through invasive removal of passion vine and ivy.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. The event will take place rain or shine so please dress for the weather!
